This Piece is developed around the concept of ‘Hiddentity’: The hidden identity is beyond the gaze. There you will appreciate the soul stripped from its form. Hiddentity represents the different colours of personality and interactions we gathered all along our existence.

‘By fantasising an ideal, you’ll only find a constructed image from the society. You are not even touching the essence of it. You are just labelling it. You are categorising it. But you don’t understand? Do you? There’s nothing to unpack to discover my true self. It is not my emotions that will make you discover myself, emotions are a real internal chaos in all of us.
it is the way I hide them. The way I dupe you into believing I am my emotions. But actually I am my expression. I am the decisions of my expression. I am giving you all the tools to understand who I am. They are just in the present moment. In the contemplation of emotions. In the love of observation. In the touch of communication. You don’t need to be Sherlock to understand me. You wanna know who I am. I am not what I am hiding from you, I am how I present it to you.’ 

An extract from this solo received Two prices at the Brussels Dance Contest 2023: First Prize Performance and the Special Peeping Tom Award. It is a development of the video project 'Hiddentity' a collaboration with Impermanence Dance Company, presented at the Brussels international dance film festival in 2022.
